Questions
How does “under a size” work?
It tries qualities until the image fits under your limit at the best quality it can. If even a low quality is too big, it also makes the image smaller in pixels.
Why is my PNG hardly smaller?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so there is little to squeeze. Save it as JPG or WebP to make it much smaller.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
